Impressively comprehensive hydraulic engineering efforts that are clearly intended to conceal the bad conscience caused by the construction of the urban planning oath of disclosure Pieper-Quartier. The measure also serves to protect against flooding. Stream with quiet zones and islands - along a path with benches. Illuminated in the evening. A short time later, the Piske is again squeezed into a concrete corset and empties into the Soeste. Its source is fed by the fields of the farmers in Lankum and Hemmelsbühren, just a few kilometers above this obvious measure.
