Unusually, All Saints Church is not situated in the centre of Brantingham but a short distance out of the village up the steeply-sided and wooded dale. The upshot of this unorthodox positioning is that is has one of the most picturesque settings of any church in the Wolds. It is not known when the church was built. However, the earliest stonework can be dated to the 12th century. The church is Grade II-listed.
