The “Sonnendeck Rehlingsbach” consists of a wooden deck that naturally curves along the Rehlingsbach. Wooden benches invite you to linger - with a view of the Frankfurt skyline and the Taunus. Information boards offering interesting facts about the history and the archaeological finds, the importance of water in this history, but also how the retention soil filter basin works, are intended to round off the offering.
The station is located at the retention soil filter basin, which is used to retain rain and improve the water quality of the Rehlingsbach and Erlenbach water bodies. As part of the measures, the Rehlingsbach was partially relocated and given a natural redesign.
