At the very rear of the castle complex is a small wooden hut that encloses a deep well.
This deep well was sunk in 1581 to an incredible depth of 170 meters. Therefore, the fountain received the nickname "bottomless". A side gallery brought drinking water from the Ondřejnice River. In 1738 a wooden mechanism used to bring water to the surface burned down. The mechanism was never replaced and the fountain has not been used since. The well was filled in and is now only about 40 meters deep.
