Church dating back to 1693. Legend has it that the Capuchin father Antonio da Olivadi had planted seven crosses in this place to ward off a famine due to the drought that was raging in Puglia at the end of the 1600s. It seems that, once the Via Crucis was finished, a heavy storm brought down the city.
