Italian stone fortification from the First World War, near Monte Rione, in a strategic military position; today converted into a refuge with a beautiful panoramic view of the Busa del Novegno, the Po Valley and the Pasubio. It was the nucleus of a system of surrounding war buildings: trenches, observatories, artillery emplacements, powder magazines, caves for shelter and storage.

Curiosity: the peak was originally called Monte Rivòn, but due to an error by a military cartographer it was called Monte Rione and remained so in modern cartography.
