Red and Fallow deer. The young are born between May and July and are hidden by their mothers in the undergrowth. The mothers are very protective be very careful not to come between a mother and it’s calf or rutting stags. Keep at least 50 metre away from the deer.

You can get quite close to the deer that roam around richmond park, but remember they are wild animals. If you want photos, sunrise is a great time to get amazing photos, particularly if there is mist and frost!
