The Church of St. Thomas is the church of the Blösien district of Geusa. It was built in the 13th century as a choir tower church and rebuilt around 1575, which is commemorated by a year on the church tower. The sacristy is cross-vaulted in late Gothic style, and there is also a baroque patron's box inside.

The church is best known for its Ladegast organ, which was built in 1855 and is therefore one of the artist's first works. During the Second World War the church suffered severe damage; however, it could be restored.
