Hiking

The evangelical church was built in 1748/49 in place of a dilapidated previous building. During two renovations in 1959 and 1983, the baroque building got its current appearance. Inside there is a romantically tuned organ from the Hanoverian organ builders Furtwängler and Hammer from 1914. After a renovation in 1995 it has the original sound again. One of the bells dates back to 1687. The Eltz Church is a beautiful example of a baroque village church that can also be visited. The key is available from the pastor next door.
