The Protestant Church of St. Johannis is a late baroque hall church.
It was built on the site of the previous building that burned down between 1789 and 1793; the tower dates from 1820/1821. Restorations were carried out in 1869, 1928 (interior) and the early 1980s. The plastered building is closed on three sides in the east and is lit by elongated arched windows. There are stairwells with access to the galleries on the north and south sides, and the sacristy in the northeast. The slightly set west tower is built on a square floor plan and has an octagonal bell storey, which is finished with a curved hood and a strong lantern.
The interior is closed by a flat plaster ceiling. There are two-story galleries on the north and south sides, and the organ gallery with a well-designed organ front is located in the west. ...

...On the lower galleries in the eastern part there are two painted parapet panels with depictions of the twelve-year-old Jesus in the Temple, the Wedding at Cana, Christ as a Child Friend and the Emmaus Disciples, which date from the end of the 18th century.
