This 2m high cairn is on the west side of the West Highland Way near its highest point on Rannoch Moor at Gualann Laith Ghiubhais. It was constructed in memory of Peter Fleming, brother of James Bond author Ian Fleming, who died of a heart attack in this area on 18th August 1971.

The Peter Fleming memorial is clearly visible from the West Highland Way.
