The tower was once a Trafoturm of EnBW, built in 1954. High voltage power lines were connected there, secured by a heavy steel door. In late 2013, Zachai learned that the tower should be demolished. Hans Zachai has created a cozy Turmstüberl together with many helpers in Leipheim. Many objects still recall the original tasks of the building.
