The Mulde, also United Mulde or United Mulde, is a left, non-navigable tributary of the Elbe. It is created south-east of Leipzig near Sermuth through the union of two large headwaters, the longer Zwickauer Mulde and the Freiberger Mulde, which drains a larger catchment area with a larger discharge.
