Located right next to Family Park on the Corniche, Formal Park is - despite its name - an extremely relaxing place, perfect for a lazy afternoon. In the center of the park is a large pond with an impressive swan as a water feature, and the lawns are lined with colorful flower beds. Although there are playgrounds for children here, this part of the park along the Corniche feels a bit more grown-up than its neighbors. One of Formal Park's biggest draws is its maze, which offers a fun way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The park also features outdoor fitness equipment, an athletic track, and numerous picnic and barbecue areas.
