Hiking

The beaver dam is located in a bend in the Perlbach river and shows the activities of the beaver in the Perlenbachtal in a variety of ways. However, this dam is not the most beautiful to look at in the valley. In my opinion, the most vivid is located at a distance of 1 km at the confluence of Krockesbach and Perlenbach. Here you can get within a few meters of the new dam.

Here, in my opinion, is the most illustrative beaver dam. It is relatively new (as of 2022) and is located at the mouth of the Krockesbach and Perlenbach. Here you can approach the dam to within a few meters. In the surroundings a flooded valley landscape created by the beaver with numerous clear gnawing marks on deciduous trees.
