These two stone pillars mark the beginning of the Jubilee path and the small parking area. Originally built in 1888, the stones commemorated the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. They stand at the base of Foel Lus, which translates to 'Bilberry Hill' - the wild blueberries are often plentiful across the area.
This path was created in 1887 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
Those two towers are the start and end point of this beautiful walk near Penmaenmawr.
The whole trail will take you on circular around Foel Lus, offering beautiful views of the Great Orme, the sea and the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park.
