The Rottweiler Legionsbad dates from the late first century. Before it was abandoned after the withdrawal of the Roman military in the early second century, it was adapted and rebuilt several times to meet the changing needs of the troops. Today it is one of the largest archaeological finds from thermal baths in southwest Germany.
