The Örtzepark is the "green center" of the beautiful heath town of Hermannsburg and it has a lot to offer for young and old. Since October 2020 there has also been a highlight for older children, a skate park designed by the Yamato company, which is unique in its composition.
But of course you can also go for a wonderful walk and enjoy nature in Örtzepark on newly designed barrier-free paths. There are information boards, an insect hotel and a dock for canoes.
To relax, there are seating options in the park - benches and loungers - where you can relax from everyday life and enjoy nature or keep your feet in the Örtze.

The municipality of Südheide intends to continue its urban planning and renovate the Örtzepark. With the help of funding it will be redesigned and upgraded.
