In 1933, the first knocking tower was erected on the 690-meter-high Pressecker Knock, but after the wartime and post-war period did not receive the necessary care, it was rebuilt in 1952. But even this wooden construction did not survive the time.
The current tower with a height of 20 meters dates from the year 1985 and is a landmark Presseck. With a good view, the tower offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, but the surrounding trees gradually rise into view.
During the hiking season, the tower is usually open, otherwise you can get the key either in the town hall of the market town or in the local inns "Pressecker Hof" or "Schwarzes Ross".
