    Hiking

Tinau Khola originates on the southern slopes of the Mahābhārat Range surrounding the Madi Valley of Palpa District in Western Nepal. Several tributaries contribute to the Tinau Khola, Dobhan Khola from the west and Jhumsa Khola from the eastern Palpa. Further downstream the river flows through the gorge of the Siwalik Range (also called Churia Range) before reaching the town of Butwal in Rupandehi District, comprising a length of 95 kilometres from the source to the India border.
