The final stretch

Straight up from the back of the hotel the short steep ascent brings you up to join the route from Manang to Yak Kharka.The high mountain side path contours round mostly gently until you come to a small outcrop of buildings. These are still about 20 minutes from the actual village of Yak Kharka.Continue round until the path gentle drops down to the larger, busier village of Yak Kharka. The usual collection of guest houses with the added bonus of a bakery - after Nov the menu is slightly limited as the beer himself has gone home.We stopped for apple pie and hot lemon/honey before continuing up the next small hill to the guest houses perched above the village.Opting to inc this extra little bit of ascent and save our kegs the next morning.
