Starting out steady in the wide valley, the path soon winds steadily upwards until you're on the high, mountainside track.

About 20 minutes after starting a path turning upwards steeply to your right can take you to Chulu West Basecamp.

As the valley becomes more gorge, the path narrow and at times loose you will see the path on the opposite hillside.

First you must descend to the bridge.
