The Tower of the Angel is a building listed as a Cultural Property of National Interest located in the municipality of Pontós (Alt Empordà). It is an old telegraph tower, built in the 19th century, which is about 500 m from the village. Given its location on top of a hill, from the top of the tower there is an extraordinary unobstructed view of a large part of the Empordà and the Plan de l'Estany, and also of the mountain ranges that surround these two counties
