pretty village of Childe Okeford. a good pub, village store and church. You can do a walk from here to the top of Hambledon Hill Iron Age Fort with some of the greatest views in Dorset into Wiltshire.

The village store is really handy - it sells food and drinks, and there is a bench outside where you can sit while grabbing a ten minute break
