At four miles long, the Chichester Canal is a serene way to walk between the town of Chichester and its marina in the harbour. It was built in the 1820s, during which a haul of 300 Roman coins were unearthed.

A lovely walk along the canal, coot, moorhens, little grebes, mallard and swans on the water. The occasional heron and a kingfisher is you're lucky.
