TRANSMISSION BUILDING (E) with COOLING POND and SWIMMING POOL HOUSE built in 1929 in a business expressionist architectural style as part of three identical transmission buildings on the extended Turfbergweg in Radio Kootwijk, commissioned by the Government Buildings Agency in The Hague. Zendgebouw E was responsible for the radiographic connection with Japan until around 1970 and was intended for possible further expansion.
