Hiking

Called The Salamander Hole. That's how it is on the map. Toad pool in the vernacular. Just to watch. Place with salamanders, frogs, grass snakes and dragonflies. Protected nature area. A short distance away is the dog off-leash forest and the wet noses route, a walk where your dog can run loose. At the Salamandergat itself, loose dogs are prohibited. Is a bench; can you rest for a while. Parking (free) at Het Leesten. Restaurant and information point available. Pretty nice, quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays.
