A short distance away is the dog off-leash forest and the wet noses route, a walk where your dog can run loose. At the Salamandergat itself, loose dogs are prohibited. Is a bench; can you rest for a while. Parking (free) at Het Leesten. Restaurant and information point available. Pretty nice, quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays.
