Highly recommended bike tour over the old railway line of the Fleimstalbahn from Auer here to Kaltenbrunn. A steady slope of mild 6% allows a leisurely but steady climb. The route crosses the most beautiful orchards and offers a fantastic view to the west over the entire Adige Valley between Kaltern and Margreid. Several historical (automatically illuminated tunnels) are driven through and several bold arched bridge structures are crossed, which, in the entirety of the steady, even incline, simply turns one's hat off to the engineering skills of railway construction in 1916.
