Mountain Biking Highlight

Location: Lismore, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, United Kingdom
Set in a wild location on the northern coastline of Lismore overlooking Loch Linhe and Bernera, sits the ruins of Achadun castle dating from the 13th century. The castle was held by the Bisops of Argyll until the mid 16th century.
The path down to the castle itself is rocky and tricky to ride. We took the bikes down (for that all important bike shot!) but it may be simpler to leave them slightly up the hill where you can keep an eye on them.
