Ermita de Sant Domingo

The hermitage of Sant Domingo is a 17th century Latin cross temple, neoclassical in nature, with a large esplanade surrounded by trees. It has drinking water services, toilets, swings for the rogue and stoves and tables with seats.
On August 4, Saint's feast, the pilgrimage to the hermitage of Sant Domingo takes place, which becomes one of the main events included in the Rasquera Summer Festival program. Every year the residents get up early, with the arrangements of some musical group or charanga, and from 8 in the morning they begin the pilgrimage to the chapel where the floral offering to the Patrón of the town, Sant Domingo stands out . After the Mass and the procession there is the ballad of the jota rasquerana.
