The Würgendorf Memorial is one of the largest and most monumental monuments in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein. It is also considered one of the most beautiful in the whole area. The monument was surrounded by nineteen linden trees, symbolizing every fallen man from Würgendorf in the First World War. Today there are sixteen of the original nineteen linden trees. The monument was terraced in the own work of the local population. It is located in the estuary of the Bachseifen in the Heller.
