Shree Kharka

Shree Kharka is a great place to rest, eat and sleep. Here, in fact, there are a couple of guesthouses. It is two hours' walk before Tilicho Base Camp.

As with all guest houses, negotiations on room rates can be made when commitment to eating at their restaurant is made.

Here you will be offered a free room when eating here, menus are the same throughout the village (see pics).

The owner of this guest house also owns another of the same name in Tilicho Basecamp. It can get very busy there, and so it's worth asking him to book ahead for you - saves a lot of hassle, and you will be offered the same room/food deal.
