Hiking

The ponds were previously breeding grounds for aquatic plants. Limburgs Landschap had the ponds redesigned to enhance their natural value. This resulted in a small pond complex with marshy areas and natural transitions. Wide reed beds, a favorite of birds, now grow along the banks. Besides the ponds, this nature reserve also includes large areas of moist woodland.
