The Sorgenser Mill, built in 1686, is quite distinctive and many commuters to and from Hanover drive past it every day.
A final restoration took place in 1988 and the so-called post mill is now in good condition. The mill is illuminated at night.
A restaurant next to the mill ceased operations in 2017.
A large new information board was put up in 2022!
