The massacre at Ovčara, that is, the massacre in Vukovar, was a war crime committed by members of the JNA and Serbian paramilitary units on the night of November 20-21, 1991, during the Serbian occupation of Vukovar. Between 255 and 264 civilians and soldiers, mostly Croats, were killed then. Most of them were patients of the Vukovar hospital, from where they were taken to the Ovčara camp and then executed in the wilderness.
