The only way to get to the picturesque island of Livø in the Limfjord is by ferry, which runs between Livø and Rønbjerg on the mainland.
The crossing takes about 25 minutes and cars and dogs are not allowed. Depending on the season, it is advisable to announce the crossing by email, otherwise the ferry may not run. Also, the ferry's capacity is limited due to its manageable size. The crossing is definitely recommended and a real experience.
