Parish Church of St. The Dormition of Our Lady in Ustrzyki Dolne was established in 1847, and in 1937 it was renovated. From 1951 to 1953 it served as a church. In the following years, until 1980, it served as a warehouse, which led to its devastation. In the years 1980 - 1985 it became part of the local Latin parish, then the necessary renovation work was carried out in the temple. By the decision of bishop Ignacy Tokarczuk in 1985, the church was handed over to the Greek Catholics. The first solemn mass was celebrated on the third Sunday of Advent. Today, services are held regularly every Sunday.Next to the church, there is a brick screen bell tower with three arcades from 1847. Only an oak cross from 1938 has been preserved in the church cemetery - a memento of the celebration of the 950th anniversary of the Baptism of Ruthenia.Source:
