An eye-catcher in the area where Patzlarweg meets Tüllinghofer Straße is the small Marienkapelle. Their history goes back centuries. According to this, the origins of this Marian altar date back to the 15th/16th centuries. Century - at that time probably more of a simple wayside shrine. It was owned by the Hake - Wolfsberg family. It was later sold to the Tewes farm, about 200 meters away on the Stever. Only at the end of the 19th century did the wayside shrine become a small chapel, which was moved to its present location.
