This large field cemetery was built near a large and modern Austro-Hungarian hospital from the Great War, baptized at the time 'Malga Belem' after the nearby mountain hut of the same name. It hosts 748 crosses/fallen soldiers.
On an elevated point there is the small wooden chapel rebuilt in 1954 and restored in 1992, faithful in position and appearance to the original building already present at the time.
