Near the Rhine, they gleam nobly in the sunlight, reflecting the water, the sky and the viewer. The steel tubes of the 8.90 meter high and nine meter long sculpture by the Monheim sculptor Karl-Heinz Pohlmann (*1935) are arranged in a semicircle. Since 2002 they have stood on the wall on Kapellenstraße like organ pipes. The work of art was erected after the dyke had been relocated on the occasion of the Euroga horticultural exhibition.
