Alte Heerstraße am Regenstein

Far from a forest highway, the Alte Heerstraße is easy to hike on.

Great hiking trail is easy to walk from here you can reach different destinations z.b. Small and large sandstone caves, castle Regenstein and Regensteinmühle all great sights

Here, too, below the Regenstein castle ruins, you will find the paths of the emperors and kings that cross the Harz for a total length of more than 500 km.

All the important people (from princes to emperors) of that time went here

This very important in the Middle Ages way is unchanged here!

This small fork in the path can later be found very easily with the naked eye from above the castle grounds (rock with a flag)! Then follows the usual sentence: "We were there before!" ;-)

Nice for a walk. Dog paws are also happy about the sandy, soft ground!
