The Cathedral of Mar del Plata is located in front of the Plaza San Martin and is an iconic building of the city. Known simply as "The Cathedral", its real name is "de los Santos Pedro y Cecilia" and it was inaugurated on February 12, 1905 and has already been declared "National Historic Heritage". Inside it is very beautiful and I recommend accessing beforehand to check the opening hours.
