Climb from Tobbiana to Passo degli Acquiputoli

This is the road that from Tobbiana di Montale climbs to the Acquiputoli pass.
Unfortunately it is part of the c.d. Cycle path of the Sun, in the Bologna-Florence section. Absolutely impractical to travel it in a northerly direction with a bike equipped with bags. Once in Prato, I would recommend cycling tourists to continue along the cycle path up to Vaiano and, from here, continue along the SR 325 to Vernio, Montepiano and Castiglione and, from here, descend to Casalecchio where you resume the cycle path of the Sun. As an alternative to Vaiano or Vernio, the Apennines can be bypassed using the Prato-Bologna railway which, with the large tunnel of the Apennines, allows you to arrive quickly and without climbing on the Emilian side.
