Parking can be found just off North Lane on the west side, and just south of the village of Fewston on the east side of the reservoir. Great walking route all the way around, with the best views from the east side.

Swinsty Reservoir was completed in 1878, just before Fewston Reservoir, which is just upstream.

Yorkshire Water own and manage both reservoirs. The circular path is suitable for all and very popular, and the surrounding area is managed for wildlife.
