Good moderate walk. Some detours made due to locked gates etc. Heather on Beamsley Moor superb. Middleton wood largest ancient woodlands in North Yorkshire

Hebden Bridge loop via Heptonstall
Don't try reversing the route. The climb from Hebden bridge to the top of Heptonstall is a killer.
"The Old Gate" in Hebden Bridge is a great stop for beer and food.

Leeds - Eccup Reservoir and Breary Marsh Nature Reserve loop from Golden Acre Park
A good easy walk most on the flat and most paths in fine condition. A few small field area which can be muddy after rain. Lots of variation to the route near the starting point.

Can be muddy in February. Chevin Forest worth deeper exploration. Amista Cafe at the start/end for refreshments.

Some deviations from the marked paths are where the footpath passed through growing crops so a detour around the border of the field was necessary.
