Picturesque harbor in the former Mainkur lock, whose historical charm can still be felt.
The lock system was built between Offenbach and Aschaffenburg between 1913 and 1920 as part of the expansion of the Main.
At the beginning of the 1980s, the so-called Mainkurschleuse was no longer necessary, the barrage over the Main was demolished and the lock was converted into a marina. The lock chamber next to the entrance and exit as well as the offshore Main island belong to the port.
