We really enjoyed this segment. A smooth, recently laid concrete road with very little traffic through a number of villages and general agricultural area. Strong contrast to the very touristy Yulong River park. In addition to rice, we saw orange trees, chill peppers, cucumbers, figs, beans, corn, pumpkins and many other things we had no idea what they were. Water buffalos, too. With the karst mountains around, it was hard to not constantly stop to take photos.
