Our plan was to be able to look into the valley on the Italian side of the pass but we were in a rain cloud for the last two thirds of the hike (and got very wet, at only 8°C 🥶), so didn't see much. Great hike anyways.

Rio has essentially only two modes - steep hills or super flat water front.
