    Mountain biking

    The monument was built between 1911 and 1912 on the initiative of the Thuringian Forest Association Gehren. The basic idea was to honor the deceased sovereign Karl Günther von Schwarzburg - Sondershausen, who often stayed with his wife Marie in Gehren Castle, which belonged to the sovereign.
