Above Waldenbuch on the Hasenhof was once a ducal dairy, which supplied the Stuttgart princely cuisine with butter, lard and livestock. The owner, Barbara Gonzaga from Italy, the wife of Duke Eberhard in the beard, preferred to stay at the Hasenhof rather than in Urach and Stuttgart, preferring to eat beans and bacon with the poor people.
